Pixar Up Short: George and AJ
This is great! You have to have already seen Up to get it, though. (Watch in HD!)

Sorry, random computer stuff I just wanted to share. I tested with VMWare Player and Virtual Box on Windows XP and Virtual Box on Mac OS X.
Outside of booting the operating system (which is impressively fast), the OS itself is at times quite sluggish. It’s cool to see the login screen uses one’s google credentials. The layout works where selecting apps is in the upper left hand corner (using the Chrome icon) and everything is divvied up into tabs. If you’re somewhat interested I think it’s worth a gander- I think it would go really well with low cost netbooks and other mobile devices.
Click here for the Google Chrome OS channel if you were interested with more info (I thought the security video was neat).

“Mind Blowing Hyperrealistic Sculptures”- Some of them really cool, some really creepy, but none of them fail to impress.

The Game
My masterpiece is done. An idea that I spent over 4 whole minutes on and nearly an hour shooting. My life’s work. Dedicated to Bobby Miller and The Reel Good Show because we were going to shoot something for you and started drinking and totally forgot.
How it came about: For my birthday I had a few friends come in town. When they asked “what do you want,” I said this. I wanted to come up with a random funny video idea and have them act it out.
The concept was put together off the top of my head in a few minutes and then a few days later, with no notes, I wanted to see if I could wing it and get all of the shots I needed. Shooting time was about an hour total and the original ending (with dialog) ended up on the cutting room floor. I cut out all of the dialog because I didn’t think it was needed after changing the ending. So please don’t be too harsh on some of the last few cuts. I didn’t really have a lot of footage to sort through so I had to make do.
I hope you enjoy it!Shot with a Sony VX-2100 and edited in Sony Vegas 9.
Shot this last weekend, it was fun.

Thought I’d try working towards a gray scale then use an overlay layer to lay down colors. Overall, it was a fun little illustration.
